Actinomy is an emerging feminist server based in bremen. Our eco-anarcha-feminist approach is inspired by actinomyces, a radiant bacteria found in compost. Linked by an inclination towards DIT (do-it-together) and low tech, we seek to disrupt our everyday techno-capitalist relations: big platforms that thrive on the extraction of our data, non-consensual ads, the capitulation before the tech savy cis male gatekeepers and the alienation from our own soft-, hard and wetware. Our gatherings are nurtured by feminist principles of care, collective learning and archiving practices. In shared terminal sessions we transform a raspberry pi into a solar-powered server providing infrastructures for feminist art projects and groups who seek to cut ties with extractivist data practices. While we speculate what a feminist server might be(come), we are permeating the on- and offline, streching our hyphae towards situated practices and extra-earthly frontend creativity.
